Further aspects for your lesson plan

For your lesson plan, also consider the following aspects:

1. Use abbreviations (T for teacher, S for student(s))

2. Which skill is practised at each stage? Remember skill integration

3. Which new vocabulary is introduced?

4. Grouping of learners (individual, pair, group, whole class)?

5. Transitions between the lesson phases

6. Specify time needed for each activity

STILL LOOKING FOR IDEAS?

- Look for a suitable text as a starting point.
- Browse through the textbook unit (English G 2000, B5, Unit 5) for ideas. But only use ideas in there as a spring board!
- Check what publishers have to offer on their websites (but do not copy their materials!)
- Consider other sources as well (picture(s), audio (song?), cartoon, website ...)
- Remember "The Meatrix"!
- ...
